16-year-old girl, 29-year-old man hurt in separate Milwaukee shootings

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating two separate shootings that occurred Wednesday evening. 

The first shooting happened around 8:48 p.m. near 44th and Hadley. The victim, a 16-year-old girl, was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. No arrests have been made.

In a second separate shooting around 10:40 p.m., a 29-year-old man was shot near 26th and Melvina. The suspect in the shooting seems to have been trying to rob the victim, police said. No arrests have been made.
