Two arrested in connection to armed robbery, shots fired incident in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Two people were arrested Wednesday evening following an armed robbery near Holton and Garfield around 7:54 p.m.

Authorities say around 8:00 p.m. officers saw a car matching the description of the car involved in the robbery.

Authorities tried to conduct a traffic stop, but the car refused to pull over. A chase began and lasted until the suspect car crashed into a freeway barrier on Interstate 43 just north of W. Silver Spring Dr.

Police say the driver and a passenger left the scene but were later arrested.
