Two arrested after stealing plumbing materials in Racine County

RAYMOND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Around 4:22 a.m. on Friday a Racine County Sheriff's Deputy doing a routine patrol saw a suspicious truck near Hitters Baseball located at 2915 W 6 ½ Mile Rd in Raymond.

The Deputy investigated the truck and found a man who was stealing plumbing materials from SouthPort Heating and Cooling located at 1343 S 27th St in the Town of Raymond. The suspect admitted that there was another person with him but that he had fled when the squad pulled in.

A Racine County K9 unit started searching and a second suspect was taken into custody in the bathroom of a gas station on 7 Mile Road without incident.

Both suspects are from the Kenosha area and one of the suspects was arrested earlier this year by the same deputies when he was caught burglarizing another business in the Town of Yorkville.
