Two arrested after Mount Pleasant police stop stolen car

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Early Saturday morning around 3:30 a.m. Mount Pleasant Police stopped a car for a traffic violation turning into the Knights Inn hotel in Mount Pleasant. Police determined the car was reported stolen from Altoona, WI.
The driver identified as 24-year-old Mount Pleasant man Marcus Montgomery was arrested. While searching the suspect police found a loaded Hi-Point .380 handgun in his front pocket and marijuana. The passenger, identified as 27-year-old Racine woman Areol Strong, was also arrested.
