Twinkling lights and festive cheer mark the return of Country Christmas at The Ingleside Hotel

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- As the holiday season approaches, Pewaukee prepares to welcome the return of Country Christmas at The Ingleside Hotel, an event that has become a local tradition.

Celebrating its 28th anniversary, this event aims to offer an immersive Christmas experience with a bold display of lights and decorations. Starting Friday, Nov. 24, visitors can enjoy a Christmas-themed trail adorned with thousands of lights.

Country Christmas 2023's Drive-Through Nights, beginning Friday, will run until Wednesday, Nov. 29 and resume from Friday, Dec. 1 to Friday, Jan. 1, 2024, and will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and extends until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Admission fees vary, with $25 per carload from Sunday to Thursday and $35 on weekends. Special pricing is available for larger vehicles and groups, including a discounted rate for senior home minibuses.

Additional highlights of Country Christmas include the mile-long Country Christmas Trail, Village Park with its 42-foot Christmas tree and interactive displays, as well as the Christmas Village, where guests can enjoy festive treats and entertainment. The Streets of Bethlehem showcases a collection of Fontanini nativity figurines, mirroring the Pope's personal collection.

Country Christmas also offers wagon rides on select nights between Nov. 26 and Dec. 14. Priced at $20 per person, these rides include treats like hot chocolate and a Christmas cookie. Tickets for wagon rides require advance online purchase.
