Truck slowing for ambulance hit by gunfire, Madison police say

MADISON, Wis. - (WISC) A truck driver slowing down for an ambulance on Coho Street Monday night was shot at by another driver, according to a release from Madison police.

The man was driving on Coho Street at Luann Lane around 7:30 p.m. when he slowed down to about 5 mph for the ambulance, police said. When a driver behind him went quickly around his truck, the victim heard a pop.

When the victim got home, he noticed a bullet hole in the driver’s side of his Chevy truck, according to the release.

The victim called police, but was only able to describe the vehicle that passed him as a dark-colored, four-door car with three men inside, officials said.
