Triple Homicide Suspect Found Not Fit to Stand Trial

A Milwaukee man accused of killing three of his neighbors is not fit to stand trial at least for now.

Dan Popp, 39-year old, appeared in court today, and a doctor ruled he is not competent, but could become competent with treatment.

Popp is charged with killing Jesus Manso-Perez, Phai Vue and Mai Vue one month ago today in their apartment building near 92nd and Beloit Road a case some local groups are calling a hate crime.

Relatives of the victims who came to court today were visibly upset with the ruling.

The next update on Popp's condition will come in July.
