Trial underway in Italy for man accused in Wisconsin student’s drowning

ROME, Italy (CBS 58) – A trial is underway for a homeless man charged in the 2016 drowning of a 19-year-old UW-Madison student in Italy.
Beau Solomon’s body was found in the Tiber River soon after he arrived in Rome for a study abroad program.
Police arrested Massimo Galioto a few days later. Galioto is accused of pushing Solomon into the river after a fight.
