Tree Lands on School Bus on 9th Street

Milwaukee Police are on the scene of a incident involving a tree landing on a school bus near the intersection of 9th Street and Hadley Street. 

The children were taken off the bus. 

A High Wind Warning remains in effect until 8pm.  Wind gusts from the southwest could top out at 60 mph.  There have been many reports of tree damage and power outages across the area.

The bus was transporting Milwaukee Public Schools students when this occurred. A replacement bus was sent and took students home. We are not aware of any injuries at this time.
