Traffic Alert: Canadian Pacific Railroad doing repairs on November 28

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works announced that the Canadian Pacific Railroad will remove and replace the westerly half of the main girder protection bean on the CP Railroad Bridge over South Kinnickinnic Avenue.
The repairs will take place on Wednesday, November 28 - weather permitting.
South Kinnickinnic Avenue will be closed to southbound traffic at West Maple Street. A signed detour route will direct motorists to use South 1st Street for through traffic during this one-day project.
Local access to businesses will be maintained.
DPW advises the traveling public to allow for extra time while traveling to and from this neighborhood.
