Tracking Tuesday's Snow

Here are some of the snow totals over the last 24 hours.  Most of the area picked up between 1" to 3" of light and fluffy snow.

Thankfully the major arctic cold has retreated and won't return over the next week!  In fact we are tracking a high of 50 by Friday!  Before we can get to the unseasonably warm temperatures, we are tracking another chance for some light snow.

A disturbance to our north will drop southeast over the next 24 hours.  The majority of the moisture and lift will stay to our south; however, there will be enough to produce light snow for Tuesday late afternoon into the evening.

We don't expect much more than a dusting or possibly a half an inch.  With surface temperatures in the lower 30s the roads should just remain wet, so travel should be fine for the Tuesday evening commute.
