Tornado sirens malfunction in Lomira

Monday night the village of Lomira in Dodge County experience a mechanical issue with the outdoor warning sirens causing them to sound. The issue also happened on May 5.

According to the Lomira Police Department, the sirens were unable to be shut off for a time until they could be repaired by Frontier Communications and Village of Lomira Department of Public Works. 

The city has been assured by Frontier Communications that the wiring problem has been repaired and the sirens are fully functional.
