BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Life Time Brookfield studio lead Cristina Dreis joined us on Monday, Dec. 2 to share some guidance for managing the challenges of shorter days and longer nights during winter. She shared five key strategies to stay healthy, focusing on improving sleep quality and maintaining energy.
Recommendations include setting a consistent bedtime routine, managing stress through yoga or meditation and avoiding alcohol and caffeine in the afternoon. Dreis also suggested supplementing magnesium and incorporating regular daytime workouts to promote better rest.
