MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--It's the newest and largest neighborhood library of its kind in Milwaukee, and it's time to check it out! The Mitchell Street Library just opened in the beginning of the month, and it's housed in the 5-story Hill Building. This site replaces the old Forest Home branch. There are three levels making up the 23-thousand square foot space. Here, you'll find 50-thousand books in addition to various computer areas. But there are also editing suites and even a sound studio.
Soon, a culinary arts program will be starting up at the library. To find out what other classes are offered, just click here.
