MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--It’s a way to shop all over the country without ever leaving your living room. A “Mobile Boutique Market” is happening this evening. It’s hosted by event organizer…”re:Craft & Relic.” Nine different vendors, from coast to coast, will feature everything from clothing to accessories. “Hyde & Chic” is a local shop on a bus particpating. It seems this type of virtual shopping is becoming more and more popular, especially during this pandemic.
Event organizer Josh Glidden says you can go to the site and look at the products. He says these business owners love to show you their inventory like colors and sizes. You make purchases through the web store, and they're shipped to you in the coming week.
Milwaukee-based BoothCentral is providing the online platform for the event. It runs from 7 until 9 pm Thursday evening. Click here so you can participate in this kind of shopping experience.
