"Throwback Thursday" promotion to return to Summerfest

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The popular admission promotion “Throwback Thursday” is returning to Summerfest this year.

“Throwback Thursday” will feature daytime headliner concerts, special admission and drink discounts on June 28.

All drinks will be 50 percent off from 12-6 p.m.

Music throughout the day will feature performers from the past including:

The Posies, Matthew Sweet, Alien Ant Farm, Lit, The Crystal Method, Sugar Hill Gang featuring Grandmaster Mele Mel & Scorpio Furious 5, The Ides of March featuring Jim Peterik, The Buckinghams, Cryan’ Shames, New Colony Six, Shadows of Knight and The New Power Generation.

“Throwback Thursday” is sponsored by Pick ‘n Save. Pick ‘n Save customers will receive four free Summerfest tickets valid for June 28 when they spend $50 or more at the store from May 9-June 12.
