Three-year-old pulled from pool in Racine

RACINE -- A three-year-old boy was pulled unconscious from a swimming pool outside a home near Shoop St. and Rapids Dr. in Racine on August 10.  Police say the toddler did not have a pulse and was not breathing.



The child was transported to St. Mary's Hospital and then taken to Children's Hospital by Flight For Life.



Officials believe this was an accident.  According to a release, police believe the child may have climbed a support strap and fallen into the pool.



At last report, the boy was listed in critical condition at Children's Hospital.
