RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A shooting wounded three people at a Racine bar early Sunday morning.

According to police, it happened just outside a spot known as Sleepy's Tropical Paradise on Douglas Avenue around 2 a.m.

Despite having a sign on the door stating no firearms are allowed inside, that didn't stop the three individuals from getting shot, right out front.

CBS 58 spoke with one of their relatives.

"My cousin was out here shot last night, but he's okay,” said Christopher Williams. The person I talked to said it wasn't life-threatening, everybody was okay."

The circumstances leading up to the gunfire, aren’t exactly known.

"I couldn't put my finger on it. It had to be something in the streets," Williams added.

It's not the first time there has been trouble at Tropical Paradise. Back in March, a fight led to an officer-involved shooting of a 32-year-old man.

A few steps away across the street at Deliverance Crusaders Church, pastor Apostle-Howard Fleming said the community needs healing.

"A bullet don't have no name on it,” he said. “Whatever it go, it gonna go in the direction…even in the air, it still falls on you, so that bothers me."

At last check, authorities said no one has been arrested.
