MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission has announced the three finalists for the interim Milwaukee Police Chief.
Those candidates are:
Inspector Michael Brunson
Captain Alfonso Morales
Assistant Chief James Harpole
Inspector Brunson has been with the department for 22 years and an Inspector since February, 2016. Captain Morales has been with the department since 1993 for 24 years and was made Captain in January, 2017. Assistant Chief Harpole has been with MPD for 32 years and has been Assistant Chief since January, 2016.
The three candidates will be interviewed in a closed session of the Fire & Police Commission Thursday night. A community meeting will be held in one week on February 8 at a to be determined location.
