UPDATE: Thousands without power Thursday morning

Updated: 11:05 a.m. February 7, 2019

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- We Energies says they have restored power to over 4,000 customers Thursday morning and have extra crews still out. They say it is taking longer than usual to restore power because of slick roads and icy conditions.

Most of the outages are being caused by weather and ice pushing tree branches into power lines.

As of 11 a.m. a little over 4,000 customers are without power in southeast Wisconsin.
