MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tuesday, March 8, is International Women's Day. As a way to celebrate, three female members of the brew team at Milwaukee's Third Space Brewing are creating a limited-edition beer.
Part of the proceeds from their "Like A Girl" IPA will go toward the organization "Pink Boots," which helps fund scholarships to women working in Wisconsin's beer industry.
Samantha Danen helped make the IPA. She says events like these are important to show that brewing isn't only a male profession.
"You might think, I have a passion for beer and want to do this for a professional living, but how do I get there? And our organization is here to help women see that there are opportunities for them," Danen said.
The beer will be available March 25.
