CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) – A man was rescued by emergency crews early Tuesday morning after falling down a bluff at Sheridan Park.
Joshua Bogdanovich says he went to the park with a friend around 11 p.m. on Monday to see the Northern Lights. Bogdanovich and the friend say things took a turn for the worse around 2:30 a.m.
The two lost his phone and realized it was about 15 feet below them. Bogdanovich decided to climb down the bluff to get it, but when he tried to climb back up, he fell even further. He landed on an embankment and realized he was stuck.

Then, his friend went to a nearby police station to get help. Crews were able to rescue Bogdanovich using a rope.
“I think they saved my life,” he said. “I don’t know if I would’ve died but I could’ve died so those guys came, they were really supportive, they were great, they were attentive, they were there as soon as they could be. I’m incredibly, eternally grateful.”
The two say they didn’t know the park was closed. Bogdanovich was not hurt.
