MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Despite the Brewers being in Chicago on Thursday night, Oct. 9, for game four of the National League Division Series (NLDS), some Brewers fans were at American Family Field at the Barrel Yard to watch the game.
“The Barrel Yard atmosphere can’t be beat,” Brewers fan Karen MacLeod said. “The energy here, being able to look out at the field, hearing the game called here in our home stadium, there’s no better place.”
Brewers mascots Bernie and Barrelman were walking around the restaurant pumping up fans as the Brewers looked to close the series.
“The energy is so high, so uplifting, so fun, this team has magic,” MacLeod said.
Brewers fans are ready for their team to get back to American Family Field, but hoping they play on Monday in the NLCS instead of Saturday night for game five of the NLDS.
“Let’s hope it’s all over by tonight, let’s hope they beat the Cubs,” Brewers fan Ben Tolson said.
