A strong onshore wind has made its' way back to Wisconsin this afternoon creating quite the difference in temperature lakeside versus farther inland, and it seems this trend is going to stick around for a bit.
A northeast wind will hold for tonight pushing Milwaukee's low back to the 40s which is below average (normal is 52), and with a due East wind continuing on tomorrow, a high near Lake Michigan will hold in the 70s, which is at average for this week, but cooler than farther inland (80s expected). A small dip in temperatures is forecasted again by Saturday as a northeast wind is back before a southeast wind returns Sunday. Despite this wind being onshore still, it will bring in slightly warmer temperatures but still expect to be warmer inland! This trend will hold through the middle of next week before Milwaukee is closer to the 80s by Wednesday.
Even though we are dealing with a constant "cooler by the Lake" trend for almost the next week, the weather is very quiet. Sunshine with some clouds is all that is anticipated for at least the next 7 days.
