The Rock's "The Hill Has Eyes" haunted attraction opens September 29

FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) – The #1 outdoor haunt in the Midwest, “The Hill Has Eyes,” opens for its sixth annual reign of terror on Friday, September 29, at The Rock Sports Complex. An incredible 45 acres and 60 minutes of sheer terror will greet attendees, running for their lives through haunted trails, braving the awesome Scare Lift, and stumbling through ghastly, horrific structures like Containment and Carnivore.

“We’re excited to ‘bring the terror’ once again for our sixth big year,” said Haunt Director Joe Zimmerman. “Every year The Hill Has Eyes gets better and more terrifying, and this season is certainly no exception. We have several talented actors and makeup artists returning, anxious to amp up the fear factor. Last year we had a record number of sellout nights, so we encourage guests to purchase their tickets online in advance or arrive early to guarantee admission – you won’t want to miss this!”

In addition to its normal menu of spine-tingling shocks and horror, this season the sprawling Hill Has Eyes introduces its Not So Scary Halloween Party. Every Sunday from 6pm – 7pm, before the main attraction, The Hill Has Eyes shifts to “kid fun mode,” ideal for guests ages 8 – 12.

“The new Not So Scary Halloween Party is perfect for families with children who want a fun Halloween experience, but not the nightmares,” said Haunt Director Joe Zimmerman. “At 7pm, we return to ‘white-knuckle blood-curdling scream’ mode, so fair warning!”

The Hill Has Eyes will be open for 19 nights of horror this Halloween Season. Admission gets you into five terrifying outdoor haunts: Containment; Failed Escape; Hunger Hollow; Scare Lift; and Carnivore. General admission ranges from $25 - $34, and a VIP Speed Pass is $35 - $44.

To avoid ticket lines, patrons may buy tickets online at www.hillhaseyes.com, where an admission ticket is $29 - $39 and guarantees admission as sellouts are common. Admission also allows guests to enjoy our nightly bonfires and music in our party tent.

The haunted attraction will be open September 29, 30 and October 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28 and 29.

Box Office opens at 6:30 p.m.
