The Realtors Home and Garden Show Starts Friday in Milwaukee

It is the longest running home and garden show in the nation.

The 93rd Realtors Home and Garden Show begins Friday at the Wisconsin Expo Center Friday, March 24th.

"Every year there's a lot to look forward to. Our garden promenade will be over 10,000 square feet," said Sandi Anderson, Director of the show and a live guest Wednesday on the CBS 58 News at 4.

More than 350 companies are participating.

Anderson says its great to use the internet to get ideas, but decisions should be made only after meeting the experts involved in person.

"We recommend do your research but then come to the show to get that face to fact interaction. It's really important."

They'll be featuring new trends but also have proven ways to increase your home's value.

Two new features will also be offering inspiration.

The Wisconsin Plein Air Painters Association will have artists doing live painting on both Saturdays with items for purchase.

Students artists from Milwaukee  will also have hand crafted bird houses on display as part of the "Reinvest in Your Nest" theme for this year's show.

The Realtors Home and Garden Show kicks of Friday and runs through the weekend.

It's closed Monday and Tuesday but then continues until April 2nd at the Expo Center at State Fair Park.
