MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Public Market is ready to kick off their spring season with the first-ever Festival of Flowers!
On Saturday, May 3, right across the street from the market at Riverwalk Commons, people can enjoy live music, food, drink and a flower market, showcasing local growers and artisans.
"It's a really great opportunity to enjoy sunshine and support local growers and the community," said Communications Manager of the Milwaukee Public Market Paige Hammond. "There's a lot of businesses inside the public market that have a lot of great spring offerings and outside too."
It's a free event with some family-friendly activities. The first 1,000 guests will get a free packet of seeds to take home and plant.
