(CBS 58) – The organization, the College Board, is working to help students pay for college.
Every year, the College Board is giving $1 million to students who complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) through the College Board Opportunity Scholarships.
Associate Director of Scholarships Strategy Lacey Allen joined CBS 58 to share six steps students should take to get a scholarship next year:
- Build a college list
- Practice for the SAT
- Improve SAT scores
- Strengthen the college list
- Complete the FAFSA
- Apply to colleges
