MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Brass Tap is bringing a taste of Germany to the city with an Oktoberfest-inspired menu that pairs classic dishes with craft beers. Owner Andy Grossman joined us on Tuesday, Oct. 14 to talk about how the restaurant combines traditional flavors with complementary brews.
The limited-time menu includes the Taptoberfest Burger, topped with bacon jam, grilled onions, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese; the Bratwurst Sandwich with beer cheese and apple slaw; and the Bratwurst Double Dawg loaded with mustard, onions and sauerkraut.
Each dish is paired with options such as Märzen, Amber Ale, Kölsch or Dunkel to enhance the flavor balance.
The celebration aims to showcase the art of beer pairing while honoring traditional German food.
