That's a winner! Brewers shut out Braves on Opening Day

MILWAUKEE - Opening Day atmosphere, warm weather, and a Brewers shutout. It was hard to beat the day at the ballpark on Monday.


Aramis Ramirez drove in two runs and made a stellar, diving defensive play in the Brewers 2-0 shutout of the Braves at Miller Park.


Ryan Braun's first at-bat since a 65-game suspension netted raucous applause from the fans. Braun had a hit and a run scored. Braun was ruled safe. then the call changed to out, on a ground ball to third base in the first use of expanded instant replay at Miller Park.


Yovani Gallardo threw six shutout innings, and Francisco Rodriguez came on for a scoreless ninth to nail down the save.
