GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- While the players cleared out their lockers and talked to reporters, one fan stood in a mostly empty Lambeau Field parking lot holding a sign.
The sign simply said "Thank You."
Even though by most standards, the Packers' season was far from successful, the man from Green Bay was moved to show his appreciation.
"Today just wanted to give 'em a big thank you just for being out there every week, you know playing for us, entertaining us, putting their bodies at risk. Just saying thanks for the reason. It wasn't the way we wanted it to turn out to be, but they tried. That's all we can ask 'em," said Green Bay fan Nathan Piltzuweit.
We don't know if any of the departing Packers players spotted this man and his simple gesture.
