Ten Strings and a Goat Skin Visit CBS 58 before their premiere at Milwaukee Irish Fest
Before they hit the stage at Milwaukee Irish Fest, Ten Strings and a Goat Skin was a special live guest Thursday on the CBS 58 News at 4:00 p.m.
Jesse Peirard and Caleb and Rowen Gallant are from Canda and make up a bilingual traditional music trio based in Prince Edward Island.
Founded in 2010, their music is a folk trad fusion of Irish, Acadian, and Francophone cultures.
They are Music PEI's 2012 recipient of Roots-Traditional Album of the Year and ECMA nominees for Roots Traditional Group Recording of the Year and Music PEI's 2013 SpinCount Touring Artists of the Year.
They've also been nominated for the 2014 ECMA Roots Trad Recoding of the Year and 2 Canadian Folk Music Awards.
They'll play the Tipperary Stage 7:45 Thursday and then The Snug Friday at 5:30 p.m., Saturday at 4:45 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.
