Ten of top 20 drunkest cities in America are in Wisconsin

A study done by 24/7 Wall St has determined the drunkest cities in America. Ten of the 20 cities on the list are in Wisconsin. Milwaukee secured #20 on the list with 22.5% of metro area adults reporting that they drink excessively or binge drink on a regular basis, well above the 18.0% share of American adults.

Once again, Wisconsin topped all states with Greenbay at the top of the list at #1, Eau Claire #2, Appleton #3, Madison #4, Oshkosh #6, Wausau #9 La Crosse #10, Fond du Lac #12 and Sheboygan #15.

The study said that there are 494 bars in the Milwaukee area which amounts to 3.1 bars for every 10,000 people.
