Sunken Port Milwaukee workboat pulled from water
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – An 18-year-old died Tuesday evening after being shot near 58th and Townsend, according to Milwaukee Police.
Authorities say the shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. When officers got to the scene, they found the victim unconscious suffering from a serious gunshot wound. Despite lifesaving efforts, the 18-year-old died at the scene.
The death marked the fifth person to be killed from gun violence in the city since Monday.
Police say the victim was involved in an argument with a known person and was shot.
Police are looking for a known person.
