Teen hit and killed by driver in Dodge County

A Dodge County teenager is dead after being hit by a car on Sunday night. Officials say the crash happened just before 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of County Highway G and Well Road in the Township of Lowell. 

A preliminary investigation finds that a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 20-year-old man was headed north on G when he hit the 17-year-old who was walking along the roadway. 

Officials are not releasing any names at this time pending family notification. The Dodge County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the crash.
