Teen dead following shooting near 57th and Villard in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting on Milwaukee's North side. 

According to police, a 17-year-old Milwaukee teen was hurt in a shooting near N. 57th St. and W. Villard Ave. around 7:20 p.m. on Monday, September 14. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital, and succumbed to his injuries. 

The circumstances that led to the shooting are under investigation.
