MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee teenager charged in a deadly crash and police chase appeared in court Wednesday morning.
Marcellus Purifoy, 17, is accused of fleeing from police while driving at speeds of 75 miles per hour. Police say the car he was driving was involved in a triple shooting that left three teens hurt just before the chase. It ended when Purifoy crashed into a truck and school bus.
Lorenzo Jones, 18, a passenger in the car, later died from his injuries.
Purifoy did not have a driver's license.
A $150,000 cash bond was set in court Wednesday. Purifoy is due back in court on April 30.
