Teen charged in crash that killed sister sentenced to 4 years probation

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee teenager, charged for the accident that killed her sister, will not go to prison. 

Seventeen-year-old Zaneah Spadaro pleaded guilty to a charge of homicide by vehicle use, under a controlled substance. 

Back in May, she was speeding in Cudahy and lost control of her car. Her 14-year-old sister was ejected and died. 

At Wednesday's hearing, the judge reviewed pre-sentence recommendations and issued a three-year prison term for Spadaro. He stayed that sentence and placed her on probation for four years with a long list of conditions. 

he cited the crash and the death of her sister as "a prison sentence in itself.":
