SLINGER (CBS 58)--Get ready for some fast action on the "World's Fastest Quarter Mile Oval" at Slinger Super Speedway this Saturday evening. It's all part of the inaugural season of Tony Stewart’s SRX (Superstar Racing Experience) Series.

The SRX Series is an exciting, new, racing series developed in part by NASCAR Hall of Fame members Tony Stewart and Ray Evernham.

All the action will be performed under bright lights in front of a prime-time television audience on CBS 58 beginning at 7 p.m.

Drivers will race identically prepared, state of the art, machines at historic short tracks across America.

The All-Star driver lineup includes NASCAR icons, Stewart, Bill Elliott and Bobby Labonte and Indy Car heroes Paul Tracy, Tony Kanaan and Helio Castroneves.

Willy T. Ribbs and Ernie Francis, Jr will represent the sports car racing world with nine-time Formula One winner Mark Webber giving the F-1 crowd a routing interest.

In addition, one to two cars will be open for track and regional racing champions to join the chase.

All the action, by the way, will be performed under bright lights in front of a prime-time television audience right here on CBS58 beginning at 7pm.

The 2021 campaign will mark the 74th season at this venerable short-track.

July 2021 will be a busy time at the Slinger Super Speedway, as the track is slated to play host to the 42nd annual running of the Slinger Nationals presented by Miller Lite, Tuesday night, July 6.

At this time, fans are also able to secure advanced sale tickets to the Slinger Nationals, via the track’s website.

Slinger Speedway is located off of Highways 41 and 144 at 280 Cedar Creek Road in Slinger, WI.
