MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A company in Milwaukee's Century City is looking to hire more than 60 workers as soon as possible.
Representatives from the company, Talgo, and city leaders made the announcement on Thursday.
Talgo is re-hauling 50 train cars for a Southern California rail company and needs help. The project could also be expanded to 121 train cars. City leaders said this is a great opportunity for people, especially those who live near the company on the North side.
"It's critical for the entire success of Milwaukee," 7th District Ald. Khalif Rainey said. "I hope to play a role in making sure these positions get filled. What I know, what the mayor knowsm is that we have the skills, the experienced labor right here in this neighborhood."
Talgo already has job listings posted. More information on available openings can be found on the company's website.
