Suspect(s) making entry through top of buildings in rash of burglaries in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities are alerting citizens to a recent rash of business burglaries happening in Milwaukee. 

Police say the recent break-ins are occurring where the suspect(s) are entering through the top of the buildings. 

Officials are encouraging business owners/operators to make sure their cameras are working properly, and their safes are locked and lighting is good. 

According to police, street robberies have also been occurring on the west end of Milwaukee Police Department District 4, located at 6929 Silver Spring Drive. Police say subjects are targeting victims for their cellphones. 

Anyone waiting at bus stops or walking should be aware of their surroundings and should call dispatch for any suspicious activities.
