Suspect located in late night stabbing death in Milwaukee

A suspect has been located in what began as a battery incident and ended as a stabbing death in Milwaukee.  According to the Milwaukee Police Department, around 11:35 PM officers were called to a house at N 80th Street and W Beckett Avenue for a report of a battery incident.   When officers arrived they forced entry into the home but found no one inside.   At the same time, other MPD officers were called to an accident at N 71st Street and W Capitol Drive where Milwaukee Fire Fighters were treating the 37-year-old driver for a serious stab wound.  The officers were able to connect the two incidents and located a suspect at another residence and no other suspects are being sought.  The male victim died at a local hospital.
