New video tonight shows a hit-and-run in Milwaukee that left a 15-year-old with serious injuries.

It happened just before 8 this morning near North Teutonia and West Hampton avenues.

People who live in the area say cars are always speeding down the road and the man who caught part of the hit-and-run on tape, hopes it can help police find the driver.

"Cars driving and hit-and-run, crossing, fighting, this is a really busy intersection," said Emad Elkhalifa, the owner of Brothers Auto Body.

Emad owns an auto body shop just feet from where a 15-year-old was hit in the cross walk.

His surveillance camera captured the moments before it happened.

You see the teen walking towards the intersection, stopping and waiting as several cars pass through. When he steps in the intersection, that's when witnesses say he was hit.

"I'm glad I can be able to get something, at least to be able to see the view of the kid and the cars."

Emad says cars are always flying down Teutonia Avenue and with a daycare right across the street, he wants to see more police monitoring the area.

"I'm scared a lot about daycare. A couple of times, we had to stop a kid from running around or crossing."

So far, Emad says police have not asked to see his video but he hopes they do.

"I feel the pain of the father of the kid and I feel his pain and I hope the kid gets well."

Police are still searching for the suspect, so far they have not released a description of the car involved.
