Realtor group chair talks August home sales, agent safety precautions

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tom McCormick, 2026 chairperson of the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors board of directors, joined us Monday, Sept. 21 to talk details about the association's August home sales report.

He covered August sales figures and current housing inventory, and with September marking Realtor Safety Month, McCormick also discussed precautions agents take when meeting new clients, including verifying identification before private showings, plus steps homeowners can take to protect valuables, medications and financial documents during a showing.
