It's been a spectacular start to the long Memeorial Day weekend with tons of sunshine today with highs near 70 lakeside and upper 70s well inland. We'll be a few degrees warmer on Sunday with highs in the low 70s lakeside and near 80 well inland. There will be a few more clouds on Sunday, but we'll continue to have a light easterly wind. Great news if you're having a cookout!
Memorial Day itself looks perfect with temps quickly warming through the 60s in the morning and into the low to mid 70s lakeside, low 80s inland with more sunshine than Sunday. Zero concerns whether you're going to a parade or ceremony.
Winds will start to turn more to the southeast during the middle of the upcoming week with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s lakeside and mid to upper 80s inland.
There aren't many real chances for rain over the next week, and we could really use some. There is a very small chance a shower or storm pops up in the afternoon on Thursday or Friday, but there's a lot of dry air over us so plan on another dry week.
