MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Summerfest is making upgrades to one of the venues at Henry Maier Festival Park.
Milwaukee World Festival announced Thursday, Dec. 7 that it's upgrading the Aurora Pavilion.
The pavilion will have:
- Widened entrance leading to increased venue capacity
- New permanent video screen
- Improved accessibility for patrons with mobility limitations
- Improved access in and around the venue, as well as to public restrooms
- New hospitality area and backstage artist production support area
During Summerfest, the Aurora Pavilion -- located inside the Mid-Gate -- will host a mix of local artists and national touring acts, featuring diverse artists and genres.
