(CBS 58) – September is Suicide Prevention Month.
On Friday, September 18, CBS 58 spoke with Kyleanne Hunter, a ‘End Family Fire’ representative and Denise Marks, who lost her youngest daughter to suicide in 2012.
In 2018, there were roughly seven gun suicide deaths per 100,000 people. In Wisconsin, there were around 6.75 gun suicide deaths per 100,000 people.
Marks works to honor her daughter’s memory by speaking about gun suicide and safe gun storage.
More information can be found on the End Family Fire website.
