"Stuff the Squad" Event in Waukesha this Weekend Will Help Victims of Crime

WAUKESHA - This Saturday, April 1st, the public is invited to donate gently used clothing and toys for the 4th annual Stuff the Squad event at the Waukesha County Courthouse from 9 am until noon.

The City of Waukesha Police officers and Waukesha County Sheriff's deputies will park their squad cars in front of the courthouse, ready to be stuffed with donations to help adults and children who have been victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, burglary, and other crimes.

“This event is an opportunity to help those who are going through a traumatic situation meet their basic needs when they need it most,” said Kristi Maglio, Waukesha County Juvenile and Sensitive Crimes Counselor. “A simple donation of a used coat or pair of shoes can provide comfort and security to victims of crime during a time of crisis.”
