High temperatures all this week have hovered between 31° and 36° but be prepared for a nice warm up as we go into the weekend. The stubborn clouds that have been around for nine straight days stay with us for Friday and Saturday making it our 10th and 11th straight days with clouds.
The wind shifts to the southwest and west for Saturday and Sunday bringing in some warm air. Parts of Missouri and southern Illinois could be in the 60s and 70s with some nice warmth arriving in southern Wisconsin.
The record for Sunday, February 2, isn't super warm at 49° set back in 1992. That record is totally attainable and the current forecast of 50° would mean we break the 28 year old record.
If you are attending or hosting a Super Bowl party you might as well just have it outside! It will be perfect grilling weather and even with the warmth moving in the wind doesn't look to be super strong.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to track the warmth. There is a temperature layer you can add onto the interactive radar.
