Streets and Parking lots near Kenosha County Public Safety Building Evacuated

Kenosha County Sheriff's Department evacuated streets and parking lots near the Kenosha County Public Safety Building after hazardous material was found in an abandon sewer line. 

Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, the Kenosha Fire Department and the Kenosha Police Department have responded.  

Streets and parking lots have been evacuated and barricaded near the incident.

As a precautionary measure, all non-essential personnel in the Public Safety Building have been sent home and the Public Safety Building is closed to the public at this time. 

A Hazardous Materials Team from Racine City Fire Department has also responded and is on scene monitoring the situation.
